People were left in shock and confusion after Senator Leila De Lima walked out of the Senate hearing while Senator Alan Peter Cayetano is delivering his privilege speech regarding the Extrajudicial killings!
A few seconds after she left the session hall, she then admitted that she couldn’t bear what the senator was saying in his speech
“I cannot stand it,” Senator De Lima stated
She said that instead of confronting Cayetano, she will just deliver her own privilege speech tomorrow.
She then stated that it’s not her who ruins the reputation of the Philippines, but rather the killings that’s happening in our country.
What is destroying the reputation of this country are the killings. It’s not me” De Lima said.
De Lima will then deliver her privilege speech tomorrow in continuation of hearing the extrajudicial cases that was filed against Pres. Duterte!
