In a speech before the Filipino community in Qatar Saturday (April 15), President Rodrigo Duterte slammed the ABS-CBN company anew for the bias it has exhibited against him even during the campaign season.
President Duterte has urged Filipinos not to watch news aired by ABS-CBN.
Duterte said Filipinos can watch other free TV channels such as TV5 and GMA Network.
“Maraming TV, may TV-5, ewan ko GMA-7 meron. Doon na lang kayo makinig,” he said.
Duterte recalled paying ABS-CBN for airtime during the final stretch of the campaign season so his camp can air an ad but never aired even if it accepted his payment.
“Tinanggap ang pera ko sabi ko ito ‘yung propaganda ko maigsi lang. P**** i*** ABS na ‘yan, hindi inilabas,” he said.
“Kaya ‘yung ABS, ‘pag sa mga news-news, huwag kayong maniwala diyan,” Duterte added.
